About us
The company was created in 2015 by husband and wife Matt and Cherie. Matt was a fully qualified heavy automotive diesel technician with 10 years experience in the workshop, out in the field and a few years in a management role in the Agricultural and Viticulture industry.
2015
The business started with just Matt and his truck and Cherie doing the books from home while working in a local accountancy firm but quickly evolved to a concrete pad and two shipping containers however due to the extreme weather in Marlborough and overwhelming support from their customers, the move was soon made to an actual workshop.
2016
In Autumn 2016 they moved to Tyrone Park Renwick where they offered repairs and maintenance on tractors and implements both in the workshop and out in the field with two service vehicles. 2016 was another big year as CM Mechanical began importing viticulture canopy equipment through Clemens Technologies in Germany.
2019
Their sales manager joined the team, to run the sales department now being the New Zealand exclusive importer for Clemens Technologies they offer implements in the vineyard for under-row, in-row and over-row care as well as Lipco sprayers and FrostGuard frost machines for vineyards and orchards nationwide.
2021
The CM Mechanical Team have grown leaps and bounds over the last five year period to now have a team of professionals over four departments; service, parts, sales and administration, with four service vehicles.
Going forward, Cherie and Matt will continue to grow the business with the main focus being their team and exceptional brands to provide the best possible service and products to their customers.

Our sales team provides a personalized service, offering a range of new and second-hand equipment and machinery. We can also sell and source second-hand machinery and equipment on your behalf to get the best possible deal for both the seller and the buyer.
